Living for Lotion
Found on this mostly weird but sometimes interesting blog, Becca Mann's painting makes me wish for summer and reminds me of Corsica.
It looks exaclty the way my eyes feel, walking into a cool house after being in the blinding sun.

Wild Honey Pie
From the depths of my hard drive, some nice pictures from Marcio Simnch. He's got a thing for elbows in the air and girls looking over their shoulder, this guy.
Very odd navigation on his site, but very lovely work.

You were queen of the waves upon the ocean bed

Here and now biff bang pow
Many, many website updates. Finally Jason Munn's got some new posters up, Nima has a new website, It's Nice That have busted out their new grid and if you thought Dan couldn't go more minimalist, think again.
I'm also way behind on this, but I'm maxing out Delicious bookmarking.

Can't wait to get home, baby dial your number
Great couple of pictures from Mark Wagner that remind me of high school desks, etched with ballpoint pen initials and carved with messages of love and hate.

La télévision fabrique de l'oubli. Le cinéma fabrique des souvenirs.
The Pipeline is pretty much the same as Ffffound: only a good idea if I have six hours of free time ahead of me, or if I decide that sleeping at night is overrated.
Even then I have to pray for my OCDs to kick in so I can sort through the hundreds of images I end up opening in as many tabs.
This time R29 delivers Godard x Hitchcock for the Lorick lookbook.

We can work it out
You thought TiVo was big? Try Tiva. She's a 13-year-old blogger who, incredibly, blogs about Margiela, loves Hedi and knows how to spell Sølve Sundsbø. She does DIY McQueen and blames sporadic posting on her upcoming Bat Mitzvah. Seriously.
Thankfully, she has very questionable taste in head- and footwear. Plus, it looks like she lives in the Ingalls' back yard.
Age 13 the most burdening decision I had to make was which colour highlighter to pick as my favourite and the only goosebumps I got were from Scholastic, not Natasha Vojnovic.
I'm pretty sure she was still 12 only last week and I'm pretty sure that's illegal.

Why don't we do it in the road
If you're roaming the halls of Glendale this spring and you don't know what classes to enroll in for the fall semester, pick this one. If not for my aunt's love of literature and firecracker wit, then do it because I designed the poster.
Also ask her which Neutra houses are worth visiting in Silverlake.

I wanna swim in the river lie in the sun
This is the work of Cenci Goepel and Jens Warnecke, who work under the name of Lightmark.
They've schlepped their kit from Norway to Argentina and from Turkey to Greenland to take these amazing shots of lights in the dark.
It reminds me of a similar project by UVA. Then again, everything reminds me of UVA.
It also reminds me of a really old campaign for Bally which featured photographs of stars above sand dunes and ripples of sand in the desert.
