All my wounds they turned into gold when I kissed your hair


Can't get enough of Cass Bird. She is the epitome of effortless cool.

Originally from Los Angeles, she moved to New York and began taking pictures "as an outlet, or a replacement for verbal communication", using photography "as a means to interpret moments".






She shoots the achingly cool lookbooks for Chrissie Miller's line, Sophomore (Bijou Phillips and Jen Brill as highway flashers), and regularly contributes to New York Magazine (including the article on Dash Snow I mentioned ages ago).



Her work was showcased in 2007's Global Feminisms show at the Brooklyn Museum, for which she also gave a really touching presentation.
